There seems to be a trend in physical services, mirroring that in intangible services, like software, where you don’t own the underlying assets. An e.g. is Uber. Or AirBnB.
There’s a weird side to this model. People start to not own things. That means the underlying physical asset owners, & the platform owners will rake in quite a lot of value over the long run. And control.
The more people don’t buy, the more they will use those services. After 50 years, those who wonder how it is that a few end up controlling so much wealth will start complaining again. This thing is going to shift physical asset control to fewer hands.
