Introduction

I will be doing a series from the Book of Daniel. Daniel and his friends also faced crisis and captivity, yet they continued to stand and flourish.

Key Points from Chapter 10

• Daniel was by the river Hiddekel when he saw a powerful vision.
• Others with him fled in fear, though they did not see what Daniel saw.
• Daniel grew weak, but a heavenly messenger strengthened him.
• He was told that future events concerning his people had already been written.
• The messenger explained that Daniel’s words had been heard from the first day he set his heart to understand.
• There had been a delay in the answer reaching him.

Concluding Thoughts

• Daniel remained steadfast across the reigns of several kings.
• His humility and desire for understanding mattered greatly before God.
• Delays do not mean God has ignored our prayers.
• We are called to stay steadfast in faith through the waiting.
