Introduction
I will be doing a series from the Book of Daniel. Daniel and his friends lived through crisis and captivity, yet still remained faithful and fruitful.
Key Points from Chapter 12
- The explanation from chapter 11 continues here.
- A time of great trouble is described, but God’s people are also shown deliverance.
- The wise are promised lasting brightness and reward.
- Daniel is told to seal the details for a future time.
- He asks further questions because he still does not understand everything.
- The angel tells him that some understanding will only come later.
- Daniel is told that he will stand in his lot at the end.
Concluding Thoughts
- God recognizes and rewards those who are wise and lead others to righteousness.
- Daniel grew in influence and integrity even while in captivity.
- He remains an example of faithfulness for us to follow.
- God is faithful to those who believe in Him and call on His name.
