Sometimes we get confused about God. It seems he’ll show up strongly in one part of our lives, & then not show up at all in another. In truth, he’s there for us throughout. While it is true that we can ask for what we want from God, he sometimes delivers the answers we seek differently from what we expect. We should trust in him still when this happens, knowing that his thoughts [& actions] towards us are of good, to deliver our expectations onto us.

• Jeremiah 29:11 (UKJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
